$5.00 bill which was from the First National Bank of Zeigler

It was the depth of the depression and banks were finding cash in short supply. The government needed to print money fast! At that time a large amount of national currency was ready and waiting for final printing (the name of the bank and serial numbers). The new notes were eagerly accepted and helped solve the cash shortage problem fast.
