Oops we made a mistake.

No one makes a mistake until it is found out and this year we made a doosey. The mistake is because we got in a hurry and did not check each other. Sounds like we need more help with all the things ZCAL does. Oh what is ZCAL?, it is Zeigler Civic ALive Action Group and we are the group that hosts the SunSet Series (4 years now) and the Homecoming and the Homecoming Parade, the Memorial Day activities at the POW Memorial along with the American Legion. We are also trying to raise money to replace the pavilion in the City Park that was blown down several years ago. We got new planters for Zeigler, but now we need volunteers to help maintain them, we just got 24 picnic tables from the good folks at Rend Lake Corps of Engineers and over the winter the city workers will repair and get them out to the parks. Oh yea back to the Oops we made a mistake.

We, this year, have two versions of our Homecoming T-Shirt. Version 1 we call the Mint Error and will definitely increase in value as we failed to catch the missing "F" in the spelling of Kohlsdorf's on the back of the shirt, so we did another 100 shirts and will be offering the Version 1 shirt at a very reduced price. What a conversation piece this shirt will make in the future. By the way we did spell Kohlsdorf's correctly on Version 2 of the T-Shirt. The T-Shirt place was very nice to us and replaced the shirts at just the cost of the T-Shirt and not charge us labor (Positive Impressions of Benton). We also added the words Zeigler 2006 Homecoming on the front of the Version 2 T-Shirt.

Take a look at the shirts and make sure you get one of each.  This will help us not be so embarrassed when we see you.

So help us not look so bad and buy a Error Shirt when you by your non-version shirt. These will be collectors items and I am sure the whole world will want them in 100 years.
