Angel Food Ministries

Angel Food is the largest food ministry of its kind in the United States
that blesses everyone who is involved.

Angel Food Ministries, founded by Joe and Linda Wingo, is a Christian, non-profit organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the U.S. With humble beginnings in Monroe, Georgia in 1994, serving its 34 families from the trunk of a car, today has reached out to nearly 80,000 families across 23 states every month.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

It's both a blessing and a bargain. Angel Food's groceries are sold by the box at $25 per unit. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items, including fresh meats, vegetables, eggs, and milk. Each box has an average retail value of over $60.00.

  • One box of food assists in feeding a family of 4 for about one-week, or a single adult or senior citizen for a month The food is not outdated or damaged goods. This is a fresh quality product provided by the same distributors that supply our local grocery chains! There is no limit to the boxes an individual can purchase, and there are no applications or qualifications, everyone can participate in the program.Food purchased as a donation to someone in need is a fully tax-deductible charitable donation. This is a great opportunity to bless someone in need. Angel Food contributes $1 for each unit sold back to the benevolent fund to further help the needy.
  • It's an opportunity for the area communities to work together to reach out to their communities. *
