LINDBERGH AIR MAIL LETTER & ENVELOPE
ZEIGLER, ILLINOIS
~1928~

Quite a letter from the principal of the Zeigler Community High School in 1928. The principals name was Walt W. Lauterbach.

The Letter reads as follows:

Feb 17 1928

Dear Charles: (C.E. Lauterbach of 519 West Hail St. Bushnell, Illinois)

Little will Lindy suspect that he is carrying his own picture to you. The inclosed clippings may be of interest to you.

Everything was covered with a coat of white this morning but by ten o'clock it was all gone.

We got rid of the Dodge last week and are driving a Pontiac. We got a very good trade so let it go. Better to invest the money in a new one that an ole one.

As Ever

(signed) Walt.
