September 1949 Ritz Theatre Calendar (Click on Picture to view a larger image)
1949's Ritz Theatre advertising memorabilia item. It is advertised as a "Calendar for Sept." This shows different movies being played during the month of September. They appear to be movies from the late 40s. Size is 11 1/4" Tall and 8 7/8" Wide. The movies are: Smuggler's Cove - Leo Gorcey Whip Lash - Alexis Smith Tap Roots - Susan Hayward Mother is a Freshman - Loretty Young and Van Johnson Big Town Scandal - Hillary Brook California - Ray Millano John Loves Mary - Jack Carson, Ronald Reagan, Wayne Morris You Gotta Stay Happy - James Stewart and Joan Fontaine Station West - Dick Powell, Jane Greer, and Agnes Moorhead The Barkley's of Broadway - Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers Neptune's Daughter - Red Skelton and Esther Williams Pan Handle - Rod Cameron Decision of Christopher Blake - Alexis Smith Mr. Belvedere Goes to College - Shirley Temple and Clifton Webb Sorrowful Jones - Bob Hope Night Time in Nevada - Roy Rogers and Flaxy Martin - Virginia Mayo
On the back it show a USPO Permit stamp #5 for 1 Cent and it appears to be addressed to 123 Prairie.
